Kickball Today Blog

Some of our WAKA friends will be spreading their love for kickball with over 100 children in Haiti from June 30th-July 7th. The program, funded by the Ridgewood YMCA, in cooperation with the YMCA d'Haiti, provides a full week of soccer training and games along with three meals per day. For many Haitian children and teens, this is the highlight of their year.

WAKA is helping by donating t-shirts, cones, bases and kickballs. You can keep up with the YMCA group in Haiti through their Tumblr page: http://ymcahaiti.tumblr.com

We want to take this time to thank all of you for being such passionate kickballers. Without you and your support we wouldn’t be around to donate to these great causes.

Keep on kickin’!

On April 5, 2013, nearly 600 kickballers piled up on a boat for an adventure that only the brave would live to tell. Actually, all 600 kickballers made it back in one piece -- they even survived the pub crawl in Mexico -- but these are just the ones that remembered some of it enough to recount their favorite memories and shout out to their loyal and amazing ring leaders.
