For the past 2 years, Kickhopopatamus from Boston, Massachusetts has been one of the furthest traveled and most fun teams to hang out with during World Kickball Championship Weekend. Last year, they also won the $2,000 cash prize in the Kick-it Challenge. This year, they are coming back to win it again, play in the Founders Cup, and they are bringing more accoutrements than ever! Player Michael Coughlin shared a bit about the team’s history and some advice for teams coming to the tournament in Las Vegas for the first time.
As the world authority on the sport of kickball, we feel obligated (and excited) to report that there was a kickball game played this evening in New York City between Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Daily Show.
First things first: the uniforms. As reported on Twitter, team "Late Kick with Jimmy Fallonballs" were sporting these fine threads. The Daily Show went with more of a retro look.

Some of our fall leagues are open for registration now and others will be opening in the coming weeks. It's time to fire that email or text off to your friends, recruit them on Facebook or get them all together however it is you do it. Tell them to schedule some time for WAKA Kickball fun this fall!

Captain Michael Long of The Box Crushers from Atlanta, GA shared his new team song and gave us the inside scoop on his team and what they are most excited about at the Founders Cup World Kickball Championship.
