The Site is owned and operated by WAKA, the World Adult Kickball Association organized under the laws of the state of Virginia, having its principle office in Chantilly, VA. WAKA maintains the Site for your personal entertainment, information and further for communication to its registered participants. Please feel free to browse in the Site. You may download material displayed on the Site for non-commercial, personal use at home only, provided you keep intact all copyright, trademark and other proprietary notices. Privacy Policy Your Privacy We are committed to protecting your privacy. You have chosen to do business with us, and we recognize our obligation to keep the information you provide secure. You can be sure that our commitment to protecting your information will continue under the principles and online guidelines described below. What information do we collect? When do we collect it? We gather data regarding usage of our web site, including domain name, pages visited, length of user session, etc., as part of our ongoing site evaluation process. Also, in certain areas of our web site - such as when you register and when you enter contact information - you are required to enter personal information (name, mailing address, email address, phone number) that allows us to identify you and contact you (if necessary). If you choose not to provide personal information, you can still browse most of our web site (the areas that do not require registration) anonymously. Why do we collect the information? To add you to kickball teams and divisions in your area. To notify you of your weekly schedules, new events, special offers, updated information and new services. To ensure you receive timely notices and information, and to help us create content most relevant to you. How does WAKA protect player information and financial information? All personal information requested on our web site is maintained only by WAKA. For credit card charges WAKA has partnered with Verisign. Verisign handles all credit card processing on a secure server. WAKA at no time has player credit card information within its possession. Further, WAKA does not share financial information of any kind with the public. What about “cookies”? To provide better service and a more effective web site, we use “cookies” as part of our interaction with your browser.
