Beyond the Field:
AL Capital's Kickball League's Charity Goals
In 2012, AL Capital Kickballers contributed over $9200 in monetary donations & volunteered several hours at events to support the Montgomery community. Kickballers assisted in 2 Kickball Charity Tournaments, blazed as "Great Balls of Fire" team in the Montgomery Dragon Boat Festival, ended the year with the Tacky Sweater Christmas party and hosted many other fun events during and between seasons.
In 2013 we plan to exceed $10,000 & volunteer more time giving back to our Montgomery River Region.

- Player shirts will be handed out at Game 1 & Late Registrations at Game 3.
- Season schedule is posted during the registration period. We do play on some holidays!

WAKA Tournaments 2013: Founders Cup, Regionals, and The Fun Games
WAKA holds two annual Kickball Tournaments each October in Las Vegas:
- The Founders Cup World Kickball Championship, an exclusive invitation-only showdown of the best teams in the nation.
- The Fun Games, a freewheeling tournament of fun, open to ALL current WAKA players.
Starting in 2013, WAKA is introducing Regional Rounds of the Founders Cup, a new Tournament opportunity open to ALL current WAKA players (and a new way for teams to qualify for the Founders Cup Championship Rounds in Las Vegas. (Dates and Locations for all Regionals TBA.)
All three tournaments feature cash prizes and a unique experience only WAKA can bring you.
WAKA Tournament Eligibility for AL Capital - Spring 2013:
- All players registered for this season are eligible to participate in The Fun Games tournament in Las Vegas.
- All players registered for this season are eligible to participate in the Regional Rounds of the Founders Cup.
- Both the Champion and Runner-Up teams of this Season's League Tournament will be eligible (though not guaranteed) to receive an invitation to the Founders Cup championship tournament in Las Vegas.
