League News
The CA Big Surf league has moved back to Thursday nights at Kearny Mesa Recreation Center, for the Spring Season. The league plays 8 weeks of regular season games. All teams will then play in a single elimination Playoff Tournament. See how your team can qualify for WAKA's National Founders Cup Tournament in Las Vegas on Columbus day weekend.

WAKA Free Pick Up Game: Thursday, May 23th
Start of Season: Thursday, May 30th
Mid-Season Party: TBD
End of Season Party: Saturday, May 18th - For Current Season. Feel free to check it out.
Miscellaneous Information
- Player shirts will be handed out at game 2.
- The weekly season schedule is posted during the registration period.
- The season schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather and other factors beyond our control.
- We strongly recommend all players read the game rules prior to the start of the season.

If you’d like to take charge, have a say, and become more involved in your kickball experience, contact your league representative and get involved today. No matter what your talent is, we have a space for you!
WAKA Tournaments 2013: Founders Cup, Regionals, and The Fun Games
WAKA holds two annual Kickball Tournaments each October in Las Vegas:
- The Founders Cup World Kickball Championship, an exclusive invitation-only showdown of the best teams in the nation.
- The Fun Games, a freewheeling tournament of fun, open to ALL current WAKA players.
Starting in 2013, WAKA is introducing Regional Rounds of the Founders Cup, a new Tournament opportunity open to ALL current WAKA players (and a new way for teams to qualify for the Founders Cup Championship Rounds in Las Vegas. (Dates and Locations for all Regionals TBA.)
All three tournaments feature cash prizes and a unique experience only WAKA can bring you.
WAKA Tournament Eligibility for CA Big Surf - Summer 2013:
- All players registered for this season are eligible to participate in The Fun Games tournament in Las Vegas.
- All players registered for this season are eligible to participate in the Regional Rounds of the Founders Cup.
- Both the Champion and Runner-Up teams of this Season's League Tournament will be eligible (though not guaranteed) to receive an invitation to the Founders Cup championship tournament in Las Vegas.
