CA Crown - Summer 2012
WAKA CA Crown is an adult kickball league in Pasadena. Our social club full of 10-16 kickball teams plays kickball games on Friday nights at Brookside Park and then goes to our sponsor bar, Jakes Billiards in Old Town Pasadena, for some good old fashioned fun. Join by yourself or start a team, either way you can meet amazing people, have fantastic Friday nights during our 10 week season and just have fun!
Info About Summer 2013:
Summer season we will continue with CA Crown's Division League*! The league are now split into two divisions: The Palace Division and The Kingdom Division. The Palace** division is for competitive, experienced teams, while the Kingdom division is for beginner teams, looking to just play to play. Both divisions will play at Brookside on Friday nights and both will party together after at Jakes. Two divisions, two standings, two champions, and one amazing league!
*Division play is based on 10 teams signing up. If less than 10 teams register, the league will play in 1 division. At the time of playoffs, the teams will be divided into divisions based on standings and CSR observation and will play in 2 playoff tournaments.
**Teams playing in the Palace division are Founder's Cup eligible, while Kingdom division is not.
Fees: $70. Includes T-shirt, field permits, league equipment, awesome parties and MORE!

Last Day to Register: Wednesday, June 5 at MIDNIGHT
Games: Friday nights at 7:15 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. at Brookside Park in Pasadena.
Bar: Kickball fun continues after the games at Jakes Cafe and Billiards on Colorado Blvd in Old Town Pasadena...we have the entire back room and our own bartender!

Reffing 101
Important:
• There are NO refunds.
• Credit cards charged at time of registration.
• Captains - make sure to read the Captains Responsibilities link on the website (next to the schedule link) before creating your team. By creating your team you acknowledge you've read the captains responsibilities and will uphold them.
• Returning players - make sure to register on the team you played on last season if you want to return to it (captains still must approve you)
• If you want to play on a team with your friends, make sure one of you “create a friendgroup” and everyone registers on that group. (Otherwise you will end up elsewhere and not be able to switch later)
• If you are an individual, don't worry - just register as an individual and you will be placed on a team.

August 3 is Wiggin' Out for Charity. Wear a wig, donate $8 and play beer pong to help support our Charity, Young & Healthy!!

WAKA Tournaments 2013: Founders Cup, Regionals, and The Fun Games
WAKA holds two annual Kickball Tournaments each October in Las Vegas:
- The Founders Cup World Kickball Championship, an exclusive invitation-only showdown of the best teams in the nation.
- The Fun Games, a freewheeling tournament of fun, open to ALL current WAKA players.
Starting in 2013, WAKA is introducing Regional Rounds of the Founders Cup, a new Tournament opportunity open to ALL current WAKA players (and a new way for teams to qualify for the Founders Cup Championship Rounds in Las Vegas. (Dates and Locations for all Regionals TBA.)
All three tournaments feature cash prizes and a unique experience only WAKA can bring you.
WAKA Tournament Eligibility for CA Crown - Summer 2012:
- All players registered for this season are eligible to participate in The Fun Games tournament in Las Vegas.
- All players registered for this season are eligible to participate in the Regional Rounds of the Founders Cup.
- Both the Champion and Runner-Up teams of this Season's League Tournament will be eligible (though not guaranteed) to receive an invitation to the Founders Cup championship tournament in Las Vegas.
