IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING DOGTOWN/WESTSIDE MERGE:
Because of overwhelming interest in this kickball season, we have expanded this league and made it an official "Super League." This means, Dogtown and Westside are not only merged in the way we promote the leagues, but ALSO on the back-end. When you log into your account, your account may say you are signed up for Dogtown OR Westside. If your account says you and your team are signed up for Westside, do NOT be alarmed. Both Dogtown & Westside are the SAME LEAGUE. Regardless of what league your account is registered with, know you are officially a part of the Dogtown/Westside Super League.
Playoff results and rankings will be submitted to WAKA for Founders Cup standings and bid invites will be for the Dogtown/Westside MERGED league. This change will not impact anything else. Every team will still play 5 innings a game, and 8 games a season + single-elimination playoffs. What this change does do, however is increase our social budget significantly (more parties, bar tabs, and prizes!!), increase the number of new people we get to meet, and make us the second largest WAKA league... in the world!
Founders Cup Eligibility
- Both the Champion and Runner-Up of this Season's League Tournament will be eligible to receive an invitation to the Founders Cup World Kickball Championship in Las Vegas. The year of eligibility is determined by the completion date of the League Tournament, according to the World Championship Guidelines (2012 Edition coming early 2012). Eligible teams are not guaranteed to receive invitations.
- All players are also eligible to participate in the Kickball Games social tournament.

More info: We’ve set up drink specials and food specials at all 3 bars. There will be FREE APPS at Enterprise Fish Co between 2 and 3:30 (or until the food runs out) All Kickballers will get a bracelet for the discounts (See below). All friends of Kickballers must pay $5 to get a bracelet – all money collected for the bracelets will go to this season’s charity – Students Run LA.
