REGISTRTATION IS FOR THE SPRING 2013 SEASON IS OPEN! As per the Hollywood usual, the first 16 teams to reach 16 players (8 guys / 8 girls) will receive team status. All teams with less than 21 players (7 days before the season starts) are eligible for free agents.
We have a current start date of April 22nd, but the Parks and Rec department isn't the most reliable institution. So, this may change slightly, I'll keep everyone updated.
**Be sure to check the season schedule out (posted above with dates) before you register because there are no refunds! NOTE: Your card will now be charged at the time you register! **
CAPTAINS - make sure to read the Captains Responsibilities link (posted above) before creating your team. By creating your team you acknowledge you've read the captains responsibilities and will uphold the responsibilities.
Hollywood Kickball On The Web
*TIP FOR FREE AGENTS* Try not to create friend groups of more than 4 people. It becomes increasingly harder to keep friend groups togeather the bigger they get. I'll try my best to keep everyone togeather, but WAKA reserves the right to break you apart if necessary.
WAKA Tournaments 2013: Founders Cup, Regionals, and The Fun Games
WAKA holds two annual Kickball Tournaments each October in Las Vegas:
- The Founders Cup World Kickball Championship, an exclusive invitation-only showdown of the best teams in the nation.
- The Fun Games, a freewheeling tournament of fun, open to ALL current WAKA players.
Starting in 2013, WAKA is introducing Regional Rounds of the Founders Cup, a new Tournament opportunity open to ALL current WAKA players (and a new way for teams to qualify for the Founders Cup Championship Rounds in Las Vegas. (Dates and Locations for all Regionals TBA.)
All three tournaments feature cash prizes and a unique experience only WAKA can bring you.
WAKA Tournament Eligibility for CA Hollywood - Spring 2013:
- All players registered for this season are eligible to participate in The Fun Games tournament in Las Vegas.
- All players registered for this season are eligible to participate in the Regional Rounds of the Founders Cup.
- Both the Champion and Runner-Up teams of this Season's League Tournament will be eligible (though not guaranteed) to receive an invitation to the Founders Cup championship tournament in Las Vegas.
