CA Solar League - Spring 2012 is COMING SOON!!!
League News:
Fall 2011 is CLOSED. Our next season is Spring 2012 (expected to start March/April 2012). The Solar league plays 7 regular season games. All teams then play in a single elimination "Blood Sweat & Beers" Tournament. See how your team can qualify for WAKA's National Founders Cup Tournament in Las Vegas on Columbus day weekend.

Miscellaneous Information:
- Most player shirts will be handed out week 1.
- Players who sign up within 2 weeks of season start may not get shirts until week 2.
- The weekly season schedule is posted during the registration period. We do play on some holidays!
- We strongly recommend all players read the game rules prior to the start of the season.
Founders Cup Eligibility
- Both the Champion and Runner-Up of this Season's League Tournament will be eligible to receive an invitation to the Founders Cup World Kickball Championship in Las Vegas. The year of eligibility is determined by the completion date of the League Tournament, according to the World Championship Guidelines (2012 Edition coming early 2012). Eligible teams are not guaranteed to receive invitations.
- All players are also eligible to participate in the Kickball Games social tournament.

This league is still looking for volunteer board members to make this season a great one! If you’d like to take charge, have a say, and become more involved in your kickball experience, contact your league representative and sign up today. No matter what your talent is, we have a space for you!
We've already gotten volunteers for our Secretary and Philanthropy Chair. Still looking for a Treasurer and Social Chair to round things out. If possible, it's best they come from different teams, so you all have an equal say. If you're interested, contact us soon!

The 2010 WAKA Founders Cup World Kickball Championship will be held in Las Vegas. It’s time to embrace those dreams of being a World Kickball Champion! The Founders Cup will feature a weekend full of fun, nail-biting kickball games, and social events exclusive to WAKA players.
