League News:
The DC Independence league plays on Monday nights on the National Mall. DC Independence plays a 6 week season with 8 regular season games, double headers will be played some weeks. All teams will then play in a single elimination Tournament. See how your team can qualify for WAKA's National Founders Cup Tournament in Las Vegas on Columbus day weekend.

- Season Starts Monday August 1st

Miscellaneous Information:
- player shirts will be handed out at game 1.
- the season schedule is posted during the registration period. We do play on some holidays!
- the season schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather and other factors beyond our control.
- we recommend all players read the game rules prior to the start of the season.

Founders Cup Eligibility

 

  • Both the Champion and Runner-Up of this Season's League Tournament will be eligible to receive an invitation to the Founders Cup World Kickball Championship in Las Vegas. The year of eligibility is determined by the completion date of the League Tournament, according to the World Championship Guidelines. Eligible teams are not guaranteed to receive invitations.
  • All players are also eligible to participate in the Kickball Games social tournament.
