The Beach league plays on Thursday nights on the multi purpose fields at Mills Pond park located near downtown Ft Lauderdale. Games times rotate weekly with 7, 8 & 9pm start times.

You can join as an Individual Player, Group of Friends or a Corporate Team. Players must be 21 years of age by the scheduled 1st week of games to join.

The league plays 7 regular season games followed by a single elimination tournament. The league consists of both competitive & non competitive teams. After the games, the entire league gathers at our official league bar, "Dicey Rileys" for even more fun.

WAKA Social Sports members enjoy many benefits when joining our leagues. You will receive generous discounts at our sponsor bars and venues. WAKA players are provided with WAKA logo team shirts that are yours to keep. You will also receive invites to exclusive parties. All players will be eligible to play in WAKA's regional tournaments and participate in the "fun games" at the national “Founders Cup Tournament" in Las Vegas in October.

Miscellaneous Information:
- Player shirts will be handed out before the games on week 1.
- The season schedule will be posted approx 1 week before our first games.
- The season schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather and  factors beyond our control.
- We recommend all players read the game rules prior to the start of the season.
- Cleats are recommended but they are not required. No metal cleats are allowed.
League Calendar:

March 28th - April 30th
General registration period (will close when the spots are full)

May 6th
Late registration opens of spots are still available, a late fee applies.

May 30th - week 1, player shirts handed out.
June 6th- week 2

August 1st - Tournament Completion

1) Most Points(Win = 1 point ** Tie = 1/2 point)                                    
2) Winner of head to head game

4) Least runs against                                    
5) Least runs against not including game 1                                    
* PF stands for Paper Forfeit and results in a 3/4 point deduction

WAKA Tournaments 2013: Founders Cup, Regionals, and The Fun Games

WAKA holds two annual Kickball Tournaments each October in Las Vegas:

  • The Founders Cup World Kickball Championship, an exclusive invitation-only showdown of the best teams in the nation.
  • The Fun Games, a freewheeling tournament of fun, open to ALL current WAKA players.

Starting in 2013, WAKA is introducing Regional Rounds of the Founders Cup, a new Tournament opportunity open to ALL current WAKA players (and a new way for teams to qualify for the Founders Cup Championship Rounds in Las Vegas. (Dates and Locations for all Regionals TBA.)

All three tournaments feature cash prizes and a unique experience only WAKA can bring you.

WAKA Tournament Eligibility for FL Beach - Summer 2012:

  • All players registered for this season are eligible to participate in The Fun Games tournament in Las Vegas.
  • All players registered for this season are eligible to participate in the Regional Rounds of the Founders Cup.
  • This competitive season of play is designated as Founders Cup Preferred, and champions will be considered for FC invitation ahead of other Leagues in the region. As many as four teams may be qualified for an FC invite, though none are guaranteed.
