_{What in the world is FL Bikini?}
It's Kickball played on the Beach  for only $38!

Season starts April 14th
Spring 2012 registration is closed as all the spots have been taken.

FL Bikini Format:

• 4 jammed pack weeks of kickball.
• 5 regular season games including 2 double headers (games are 5 innings)
• Games played on the sand, shoes not required, as far as tops, skimpy is not wimpy!
• End of season tournament and bikini party at the Briny after the games.
• Sponsor Bar - Briny just a short walk away from the sandy beach we will be playing on.
• Only a $38 registration fee
• Smaller roster requirements based on overall registrations. 
• 3rd inning fiasco, each week the 3rd inning will have "special" rules, see below.
• Tie games will be settled at the bar, nough said!
• Underhand pitching only, duh we play in the sand.

The FL Bikini is a unique WAKA league with special "fun" rules geared towards players that want to let loose and have some fun. This league plays on Saturday afternoons on Pompano Beach just North of the pier on Atlantic & A1A. The league plays 3 regular season weeks and may have some double headers. All teams will then play in one day tournament on week 4.

January 18th - March 20th - Registration Closed, WE ARE SOLD OUT!
Registration opens for the Spring 2012 FL Bikini season.
Player fee' is $38
Note: registration can and will close sooner if the spots fill up, WAKA works on a 1st come 1st served basis.
 

April 14th - Week 1
Kickball season begins
Player team shirts handed out.
Weekly Theme -"Sexy But Legal Beachwear"
This week's special inning(3rd inning): Girl Power (1st & 3rd base, catcher and pitchers must be girls)

April 21st - No games scheduled due to the Pompano Beach seafood festival.
April 28th - No games - Rained Out!

April 5th - Week 2
Weekly Theme -"Exotic Suntan Lotion"
This week's special inning (3rd inning): Capture the bikini.

May 12th - Week 3
Weekly Theme -"Senior Citizen Beachwear"
This week's special inning:  -reverse running, 1st is 3rd base etc

June 2nd - Tournament Week
Tournament Games 3pm start time
Season ending party and bikini contest at the Briny after the games, "Get Wet"

- player shirts will be handed out at game 1.
- the weekly season schedule is posted during the registration period. We do play on some holidays!
- the season schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather and other factors beyond our control.
- we recommend all players read the game rules prior to the start of the season.
 

Special Beach Rules & Policies:
Bases will be 45' apart instead of the standard 60'
Games are 5 innings and must be completed in the allotted time.
Underhand pitching style only.
3rd inning will be a special fun rules inning!
Runs for & against will not show or count in the standings.
Ties will be settled at the bar at the discretion of WAKA.
Teams that act in an unsportsmanlike manor and complain all the time will be issued naughty demerits in the standings (point deductions)
