League News:
The Stingray league plays on Friday nights at Patton park. The league plays 7 regular season games.
All teams will then play in a single elimination tournament.
Important Dates:
January 6th - March 8th
Spring registration is open and will close sooner if the spots fill up. Do not wait to register.
March 9th
Late registration of spots still available ($10 late fee included)
March 23rd
Mandatory Captains meeting - 745pm @ SWAY
Season kickoff Semi-Formal Kickball Cocktail Party - 815pm @ SWAY
March 30th
Spring 2012 season GAMES BEGIN
April 6th
Referee clinic prior to games 6:40pm (mandatory for captains)
June 1st
End of Season Party and Awards Ceremony @ Blues Rock Cafe
WEEKLY CONTESTS:
WAKA Kickball is known for the crazy weekly theme contests. Here's your chance to showcase your inner creativity --on a weekly basis. Winning team will receive 3 free pitchers of beer at the sponsor bar after the game! Theme weeks will be on weeks #3,4,5 and 6. We'll also award 1 pitcher to the "Theme King/Queen of the Week" -- the individual most creative and dressed up! The contests are as follows:

►Mexican Fiesta
Miscellaneous Information:
- player shirts will be handed out at game 1.
- the weekly season schedule is posted during the registration period. We do play on some holidays!
- the season schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather and other factors beyond our control.
- we strongly recommend all players read the game rules prior to the start of the season.

Both teams will receive invites to attend 2012 Founders Cup in Las Vegas to be held October 2012
. 
This season we will be partying at
Founders Cup Eligibility
- This WAKA League/Season welcomes and encourages competitive teams.
- Due to the expected high level of play, all four Semifinalists of this Season's League Tournament will be eligible to receive an invitation to the next Founders Cup World Kickball Championship in Las Vegas.
- In addition, the Champion of the League Tournament will be GUARANTEED an invitation, to be offered in the next invite round following their clinching victory. (Other eligible teams are not guaranteed to receive invitations.)
- Subsequent Seasons of this League may or may not follow this Eligibility policy. Watch this space to each season to determine FC Eligibility status.
- All players are also eligible to participate in the Kickball Games social tournament.
