Captain's Responsibilities - Tournament Rules
World Adult Kickball Association is the sanctioning body of kickball, providing hundreds of thousands of adults worldwide with the ultimate kickball experience. Typically made up of 8 teams, the NC Storm League offers newer players experience with Waka kickball as well as a more relaxed environment for the veteran player.
Why should you play with WAKA?
9 regular season games and up to 5 tournament games, opportunity to qualify for Founders Cup, the annual national tournament in LAS VEGAS!, new equipment each season, guaranteed field times and lights (as needed), competitive and non-competitive brackets, prizes for tournament champions, discounts at local businesses, no annual membership fees, WAKA team t-shirt, official rules and league organization from the governing body of kickball, opportunity to meet and socialize with hundreds of local area adults at our weekly socials at the league bar (teams get free nachos!) mid and end of season parties (free food and beer) charity activities each season.

Beyond the Field:
Founders Cup Eligibility
- Both the Champion and Runner-Up of this Season's League Tournament will be eligible to receive an invitation to the Founders Cup World Kickball Championship in Las Vegas. The year of eligibility is determined by the completion date of the League Tournament, according to the World Championship Guidelines (2012 Edition coming early 2012). Eligible teams are not guaranteed to receive invitations.
- All players are also eligible to participate in the Kickball Games social tournament.
