All games will be played at Oakwood and Fletcher Park on Tuesday nights!!

World Adult Kickball Association is the sanctioning body of kickball, providing hundreds of thousands of adults worldwide with the ultimate kickball experience. Typically made up of 8 teams, the NC Storm League offers newer players experience with Waka kickball as well as a more relaxed environment for the veteran player.
WAKA has partnered with CancerNeverSleeps to bring you another great season of NC Storm kickball! Opening day will be March 26th and run through May with games at Oakwood and Fred Fletcher Park.

Early Registration Ends: Feb 8th (Register by this date to save $5)
Regular Registration Ends: March 15th (Late fees apply after this date)
Season Starts: March 26th
Mid Season Party: 19th April 2013 - Thrift Shop Bar Crawl - 7:30pm starts at Nappert Tandy's
End of Season Party: 11th May 2013 (Tentative)
Why should you play with WAKA?
9 regular season games and up to 5 tournament games, opportunity to qualify for Founders Cup, the annual national tournament in LAS VEGAS!, new equipment each season, guaranteed field times and lights (as needed), prizes for tournament champions, discounts at local businesses, no annual membership fees, WAKA team t-shirt, official rules and league organization from the governing body of kickball, opportunity to meet and socialize with hundreds of local area adults at our weekly socials at the league bar with Trivia, mid and end of season parties (free food and beer) charity activities each season.

Don’t Just Kick the Ball, Be the Ball! This kickball league is currently looking for volunteers to help make this kickball season a great one! If you’d like to take charge, have a say, and become more involved in your kickball experience, contact your league representative and get involved today. No matter what your talent is, we have a space for you!
WAKA Tournaments 2013: Founders Cup, Regionals, and The Fun Games
WAKA holds two annual Kickball Tournaments each October in Las Vegas:
- The Founders Cup World Kickball Championship, an exclusive invitation-only showdown of the best teams in the nation.
- The Fun Games, a freewheeling tournament of fun, open to ALL current WAKA players.
Starting in 2013, WAKA is introducing Regional Rounds of the Founders Cup, a new Tournament opportunity open to ALL current WAKA players (and a new way for teams to qualify for the Founders Cup Championship Rounds in Las Vegas. (Dates and Locations for all Regionals TBA.)
All three tournaments feature cash prizes and a unique experience only WAKA can bring you.
WAKA Tournament Eligibility for NC Storm - Summer 2012:
- All players registered for this season are eligible to participate in The Fun Games tournament in Las Vegas.
- All players registered for this season are eligible to participate in the Regional Rounds of the Founders Cup.
- Both the Champion and Runner-Up teams of this Season's League Tournament will be eligible (though not guaranteed) to receive an invitation to the Founders Cup championship tournament in Las Vegas.
