Registration for the Summer 2012 Express League Is Now Open! Spring 2012 is underway!!

Registration for our NY Freedom Summer 2012 Express league is now open and our Spring 2012 league is in full force. We are looking forward to some great times!
**IMPORTANT: NO ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED ON THE FIELD. THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.**
Spring 2012 - We play an 8 game regular season. Upon completion of the season, teams face off in a single elimination playoff tournament competing to receive an invitation to play in WAKA's National Founders Cup Tournament in Las Vegas on Columbus Day weekend.
Summer 2012 - The Freedom Express league will play 4 regular season games with start times rotating between 6:30 pm & 7:15 pm. Games are played on Thursday nights at Heckscher Field 3. All teams will then play in a "field day" which is held on Thursday night after the regular season ends.
The summer season is an "express" season which plays for 4 weeks including a field day! This is a great chance to introduce your friends to the great sport of kickball for adults.

- Mar 15 - Registration opens for Spring league
- April 27 - Free Pickup Game
- May 10 - Preseason Party at Exchange
- May 17 - Regular Season Begins for Spring league
- May 22 - Registration opens for Summer Express league
- TBD - Midseason Party
- Jul 5 - Regular Season Ends for Spring league
- Jul 12 - Playoffs begin for Spring league
- Jul 19 - Playoffs conclude and champions crowned for Spring league
- TBD - End of Season Party
- Jul 26 - Registration ends for Summer Express league
- Aug 2 - Regular Season Begins for Summer Express league
- Aug 30 - Field Day for Summer Express league
Miscellaneous Information:
- Player shirts will be handed out week 1, before the first games.
- The season schedule will be posted during the pick up game period.
- The season schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather and other factors beyond our control.
- We recommend all players read the game rules prior to the start of the season.

Founders Cup Eligibility
- This WAKA League/Season welcomes and encourages competitive teams.
- Due to the expected high level of play, all four Semifinalists of this Season's League Tournament will be eligible to receive an invitation to the next Founders Cup World Kickball Championship in Las Vegas.
- In addition, the Champion of the League Tournament will be GUARANTEED an invitation, to be offered in the next invite round following their clinching victory. (Other eligible teams are not guaranteed to receive invitations.)
- Subsequent Seasons of this League may or may not follow this Eligibility policy. Watch this space to each season to determine FC Eligibility status.
- All players are also eligible to participate in the Kickball Games social tournament.
