Registration is now open for the Summer 2012 Season!
For the upcoming summer season beginning June 7, TX Live will return to 78704 with games at the South Austin Recreation Center every Thursday until the August 25th playoff tournament. Sponsor bar is TBA as we actively search for ideal partners. Use the registration link at the top right of the page to begin forming your team today! Captains will need to register individually and then use their profile pages to create a new friend group. Email me at stephen@kickball.com if you have questions!
Upcoming Events
- May 30: First t-shirt order for Summer 2012. Make sure to sign up by this date to receive your t-shirt in time for week 1!
- May 31: Summer 2012 Pick-Up Game. Home run derby, open play, and a rules clinic! Bring the newbies or people who are on the fence about joining. Pick up game will be at the South Austin Recreation Center (1100 Cumberland Rd, 78704) at 7 PM.
- June 6: Captains' Meeting and T-Shirt Pickup. Meet at Third Base at 7 PM to discuss captains responsibilities, rules, and pick up your t shirts.
- June 7: Summer 2012 Season Begins. First Thurdsday night of play at South Austin Recreation Center! (1100 Cumberland Rd, 78704)
- June 13: Summer 2012 Registration Closes. Final t-shirt order will be made, players who sign up after May 30 will receive shirts June 21.
- August 23 & 25: Summer 2012 Playoff Tournament.
Summer 2012 Theme Nights!
Get into the theme nights with costumes and creations put together by you and your teammates! The best dressed teams each week will win a free pitcher at Third Base, but you have to post your pictures on the Facebook page to be eligible!
- June 14: Flags of the World! It's flag day, but there are more flags than just Old Glory that need love! Fact: Flags make great capes, togas, and skirts.
- July 5: America Week! The birth of our nation can't be contained by a single day, especially not a Wednesday. Show the love!
- July 19: 90s Nickelodeon! Things happened on Nickelodeon in the 90s that will never be matched in TV history. Hey Dude! Salute Your Shorts. The Ren and Stimpy Show. Rugrats. Doug. GUTS. Legends of the Hidden Temple. Wild and Crazy Kids. Which will you honor?
- August 2: Disney Week! It's impossible for me to describe how excited I am for this theme. Any excuse to wear a vest with no shirt underneath. Or dress up as a llama.
League News
- The Summer 2012 season will be played at the South Austin Recreation Center (1100 Cumberland), and we'll be partying after the game at Third Base Sports Bar!
- Starting with the Spring 2012 season, teams who win consecutive TX Live championships will be moved up to TX Capital for the subsequent season, since maybe they should have been playing in Capital in the first place, eh? TX Live champions will not be granted eligibility for the Founders Cup in Las Vegas, NV.

Founders Cup Eligibility
- This WAKA League/Season is geared for social players and beginners, and discourages hard-core competitive play.
- Teams can NOT qualify for the Founders Cup World Kickball Championship by any means via this season of play.
- All players ARE still eligible to participate in WAKA's Las Vegas Social Tournament, The Kickball Games.
