CLUBWAKA Happenings: Summer Camp in Texas

Once again we headed into the woods to throw a wild WAKA Summer Camp weekend retreat - this time in Texas.

Much like our adult summer camp in California earlier this season, this one in Marble Falls (near Austin) featured all your favorite camp activities, team color wars, campfire kareoke, and an electric forest DJ set and glow in the dark dance party

If you couldn't be there, we'll give you the scoop on the jam-packed weekend of of fun at the lake:

Excited campers were anticipating a wild weekend and took a party bus to the campground.

The campground was on the lake in Marble Falls, Texas (near Austin) and there had tons of water sports and activities like rope swings, water slides, and a giant blob.

The opening night party was a Hippie Theme - a tribute to “Keep Austin Weird.”

On Saturday, teams competed in color wars and were challenged to dizzy bat races, foam dodgeball, tug of war, and more.

One of CLUBWAKA's Co-Founders, Jimmy Walicek, joined up with "Troop 69", a team of free agents with CLUBWAKA members from all over the country.

At the end of the games, team "Make Summer Camp Great Again" won the most events and took home the Color Wars Championship medals.
