Kickball Thursday: Celebrating a Milestone - 1000 games!

We’re always on the look out for inspiring stories from the WAKA community and this week we have a big milestone to celebrate!

On June 6th in Hollywood, California, Padraic "Paddy" C. played in his 1000th kickball game. No, not one hundred… one thousand!

ONE THOUSAND KICKBALL GAMES. The fact that he even kept track is an achievement in of itself.

One thousand kickball games is a commitment to the game and the sport itself - to play fairly, to play hard, and to display great sportsmanship.

One thousand kickball games is a commitment to the teammates and friends, and WAKA family - to cheer for, to support, to lift up, to teach, to help, and to just be there for someone.

One thousand kickball games is a commitment to the community at large - to help grow the sport and to be a true ambassador of the game and social sport lifestyle.

ONE THOUSAND KICKBALL GAMES.

On behalf of WAKA, we’d like to congratulate Paddy on this inspirational, awesome, silly, ridiculous, and truly - REMARKABLE - milestone.

A big achievement like this deserves an even bigger celebration. So this year, in honor of Paddy's kickball milestone of 1,000 games, we’re celebrating with over 1,000 of his friends in Las Vegas during WAKApalooza Weekend!

Join us on Friday evening, October 7th at the LINQ Hotel & Casino for a special celebration recognizing this milestone, where the WAKA Founders will present Paddy with a special Achievement Award.  And true to form, this will be a themed party where we expect everyone to "Go Bananas!"

So book your WAKApalooza Weekend trip, find that special banana costume, monkey outfit, or even something as simple as a yellow shirt.  It will truly be a party that will be as awesome and ridiculous as this achievement is.
