WAKAPALOOZA Fun Games 2017: Best Charity Heroes Award

The WAKAPALOOZA Fun Games is one of CLUBWAKA’s most beloved annual vacation events held in Las Vegas, Nevada each October. The event features a round robin kickball game series with coed teams from around the country, parties at the field, and chances win awesome prizes.

In 2017, CLUBWAKA is teaming up with Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation to offer the Best Charity Heroes Award, giving teams registered in the WAKAPALOOZA Fun Games the chance to get involved and host their own lemonade stands or creative fundraising events for childhood cancer research. 

How it works: 

Registered teams in the Kickball Fun Games 2017 are invited to make a difference and help fund childhood cancer research by hosting their own lemonade stand or charity fundraiser from August 25th - October 7th, 2017.


All registered teams in the WAKAPALOOZA Fun Games 2017 are invited to participate by fundraising online or hosting a team charity event! 

How to enter: 

It’s easy, here’s how you and your team can take part! 

Host a team lemonade stand or fundraiser event in support of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation anytime between August 25th and October 7th, 2017. They have tons of resources on their site to make it easy for you to plan your event. We recommend hosting a lemonade stand or event on a CLUBWAKA game night, at the kickball field, or another time that works for your team! 

Even If your team can’t host an event before WAKAPALOOZA, you can still participate by setting up a team fundraising page and collecting donations directly to your team page on the WAKAPALOOZA fundraising page. 


Each team’s fundraising goals and contributions will be tracked on the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation fundraising site. The team with the greatest fundraising contribution on October 7th, 2017 will win the Best Charity Heros Award of WAKAPALOOZA 2017. 

How to set up your Fun Games team fundraising page: 

1. Visit the WAKAPALOOZA Fundraising Page and click on “Register Now” 

2. Register your team with your team name and hometown/ location. You’ll get a full suite of tools delivered to your inbox once you do this. You'll also receive an email from our WAKAPALOOZA fundraiser coach at ALSF who will be avaialble to help with any questions and ideas for your fundraiser. 

3. Share your team fundraising page on social media, email, and with your league! It’s the easiest way to spread the word! There are Facebook and Twitter icons right on the page - just click the icon, include a quick note, and encourage your friends to donate and join you! 

4. Hold your stand or event - have fun! 

5. Take a photo of your stand or event and submit it to tournaments@kickball.com before 10/7/17.
