Field Policies

Please read the following park rules carefully. They will be strictly enforced.

St Nicholas Park is run by the City of Jacksonville, and we need to pay close attention to their rules to ensure we will have fields to play on for the season.

Beverages:

Alcoholic beverage containers should not be seen on the park fields at any time.

Glass bottles of any kind or similar bottles with metal bottle caps are not allowed on the fields.

Funnels, Kegs and Party Balls or similar items are not allowed on the fields.

Keep your beverages in coolers -- not shopping bags. You are encouraged to keep all sports drink beverages in bubba kegs or thermos bottles. Clear colored or see through cups are not allowed. Please purchase solid colored solo cups.

Anyone in violation of the beverage policy may be asked to leave the premises, and their team will be forced to forfeit their game.

Trash:

All trash must be picked up before you leave the field. Please utilize the trash cans at various locations at the field.

Rest Rooms:

There are restrooms near the gravel parking lot on the playground side of the field.

Parking:

You may park in the gravel lot, at the elementary school, or along Spring Park Road.

Field Locations:

Fields are numbered clockwise beginning at the baseball diamond. Except for Field 1, games are played on the grass.

Field 1 is the baseball diamond, Field 2 is near the woods in the corner, Field 3 is closest to the elementary school, and Field 4 is closest to the playground.

Rainout Policy:

We do play in the rain as long as the fields are not too soft.

If there is lightning we will postpone the games for 15 minutes or until the lightning passes.

Rainouts will be posted to website by 5 pm on game day.

If we have yet to make a decision by 5 pm, the captain will receive a text message if the game is rained out.
