Team Match Play Rules

  1. Split your team up into 3 groups of 2 players each.
  2. Rock Paper Scissors to see what team matches up against who.
  3. The loser of RPS picks the second match. The third match is already picked at that point.
  4. Any team that can't put up enough players for a match, loses 3-0 just for that match they couldn't play in.
  5. Extra players over the 1st 6 can pair up and play if the captains agree upon it.

  1. Rock Paper Scissors to see who shoots first.
  2. Finish the hole before the next player shoots.
  3. One team finishes a hole before the other team plays.
  4. On every hole, combine your two scores and compare to the other team. If a team has a lower score, that team gets a point for the hole. If your opponents both hit a hole in one, you both have one shot to keep them from winning the hole.
  5. This is match play so you count up how many holes you won.

  1. The max you can shoot on a hole is 6.
  2. A ball may go out of bounds or skip the water and as long as it lands back on the hole you are on, it is ok.
  3. A ball that goes out of bounds, is put back where it went out with a one stroke penalty. Example: Your first shot goes flying past the hole and goes straight out of bounds behind the hole. You would place the ball on the green nearest where it went out of bounds. You are now shooting your third shot.
  4. If the ball is touching the wall, you are allowed to move it away just the length of the putter head to give you some room to strike the ball.
  5. No mulligans. A mulligan is taking back your last shot and doing it over.
  6. We will keep stats every week.
  7. Play all 18 holes out.
  8. A tie can certainly happen.
  9. The final night will have the championship match for all to see.
  10. The champion, 2nd, and 3rd place will be crowned for the season at Shamrock on the last night. Big drumroll!
