Field Policies

Field Policies

Please read the following park rules carefully. They will be strictly enforced.

The Payson Park Fields are run by the Recreation Department of the City of Portland so please pay close attention to their rules to ensure we will have fields to play on for the season.

Pets:
Pets are allowed on Payson Park Fields. Please make sure to keep your pet out of trouble and away from all kickballs!

Beverages:
Alcoholic beverage containers should not be seen on the Payson Park Fields at any time.
Glass bottles of any kind or similar bottles with metal bottle caps are not allowed on the fields. Anyone found with glass bottles will have the bottles confiscated, will be asked to leave the fields and will be suspended for one week and their team will take a forfeit.
Funnels, Kegs and Party Balls or similar items are not allowed on the fields.

Keep your beverages in coolers, not shopping bags. You are encouraged to keep all sports drink beverages in bubba kegs, thermos bottles or wrapped in a cozy. Clear colored or see through cups are not allowed, please purchase solid colored solo cups.

Anyone in violation of the beverage policy may be asked to leave the premises and their team will be forced to forfeit their game.

Trash:
All trash must be picked up before you leave the field.

Parking:
Parking is available adjacent to the playing fields. Please watch your speed as you enter and exit the lot.

Rainout:
An email will also go out to all players by 3:00pm on Thursday if games are canceled.

We do play in the rain as long as the fields are not too soft. If there is lightning we will postpone the games for 15 minutes or until the lightning passes.
