Field Policies

Please read the following park rules carefully. They will be strictly enforced.

The Deering Oaks Park fields are run by the Parks & Recreation Department of the City of Portland so please pay close attention to their rules to ensure they will continue to rent us fields for seasons to come.

Alcoholic beverages should not be seen on the Payson Park fields at any time.
Glass bottles of any kind or similar bottles with metal bottle caps are not allowed on the fields. Anyone found with glass bottles will have the bottles confiscated, will be asked to leave the fields and will be suspended for one week.

You are encouraged to keep all sports drink beverages in reusable bubba kegs, thermos bottles or wrapped in a koozie.

Anyone in violation of the beverage policy may be asked to leave the premises and their team will be forced to forfeit their game.

All trash must be picked up before you leave the field. Pitch in if you see trash that doesn't belong to you. It is all of our responsibility to keep the fields clean and keep our permits with the city.

Rest Rooms:
There are facilities located across from the play ground. Please use them and not the bushes.

Parking is available adjacent to the playing fields. Please watch your speed as you enter and exit the lot.

An email will also go out to all players by 4:00pm on Thursday if games are canceled.

We do play in the rain as long as the fields are not too soft. If there is lightning games may be postponed or canceled.
