Azalea Little League Complex is a privately run sporting field, so we need to pay close attention to their rules to make sure we have fields to play on this season:
  • Alcoholic Beverages are prohibited! i.e.
  1. Alcoholic beverage containers should not be seen AT ALL on the fields at any time.
  2. Glass bottles of any kind or similar bottles with metal bottle caps are not allowed on the fields.
  3. Funnels, kegs, party balls and similar items are not allowed on the fields.
  4. Keep your beverages in coolers, not shopping bags.
  5. Clear colored or see through cups are not allowed, please purchase solid colored OPAQUE solo cups.
  6. Anyone in violation of the beverage policy may be asked to leave the premises and their team will be forced to forfeit their game.
  7. Players who are visibly intoxicated are prohibited in any kickball games, regardless if the outcome of the game is determined or not. This is for the safety of ALL players.
  • Pets
  1. All pets are prohibited from being on the fields.
  • Trash
  1. All trash must be picked up before you leave the field.
  • Restrooms
  1. We have access to the restrooms during game day. Please leave the bathroom in the same condition you entered in.
  • Parking
  1. Limited parking is available in the parking lot. If you cannot find a marked parking space, you may park along the road, as long as you do not block any driveways.
  2. WAKA is not responsible for any parking tickets.
  • Unsportsmanlike Conduct:
  1. The Customer Representative will impose penalties and suspensions upon teams and players as necessary to insure the orderly conduct of the league. Any captain or player ejected for any reason will be automatically suspended a minimum of one week.
  2. Any player(s) or captain(s) ejected from the game for fighting will be automatically be suspended from the remainder of the the current game and a minimum of the next team game. to be played by his/her team. No notice of this suspension shall be necessary. In the event that a player or captain deviates from this ruling, it will consitute a forfeit and the team not at fault will be credited with a win. The player or coach will still be suspended from the next team game played by his/her team. 
  3. Any player(s) or captain(s) ejected from the game by a referee for unsportsmanlike conduct shall automatically be suspended from the remainder of the the current game and a minimum of the next team game. to be played by his/her team. No notice of this suspension shall be necessary. In the event that a player or captain deviates from this ruling, it will consitute a forfeit and the team not at fault will be credited with a win. The player or coach will still be suspended from the next team game played by his/her team.
  4. Teams are responsible for the conduct of their spectators at games. Any team refusing to control a spectator will forfeit the game.
  5. The Customer Representative reserves the right to review any and all incidents as stated above. The Customer Service Representative can impose additional suspension time or revoke suspension consequences prior to the suspensions being served.
  6. Once the suspension is served, additional consequences cannot be imposed any players or captains.
  • Field Conditions:
  1. Games will be played in rain, as long as they are not too soft.
  2. Games will NOT be called because of threatening weather.(i.e. Thunder or dark clouds.); however,
  3. Games will be IMMEDIATELY suspended if lightning is seen.
  4. The Customer Representative / League President will make the decision prior to the start of the first game on whether or not a game is playable. The decision will be final and the captains and players will accept this decision as final without questions.
  5. If the first game is canceled because of field or weather conditions, all games on that field are automatically canceled. Any games that are canceled may or may not be rescheduled, depending on the availability of fields. Make up schedules will be available on the WAKA site as soon as possible.
  6. Once a game has started, the Customer Representative / League President / Head Referee may decide to suspend play if inclement weather conditions arise. If a game is halted, teams may seek shelter, but should not leave the immediate area for a period of 15 minutes. After this time, the Customer Representative / League President will make a final decision as to whether the game will continue or be canceled and notify the coaches accordingly.
  7. HAZARDOUS WEATHER CONDITIONS: If on the date of your scheduled game there is a local tornado or tropical storm / hurricane WARNING in effect between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. all games will be canceled, in advance for that day. If there is a severe weather WATCH in place, a decision will be made based on the weather information available at the time games will be played.
  8. ALWAYS ASSUME that games are on, unless specifically told by your captain or by the Customer Service Representative. Cancelations will be posted on Facebook, Twitter, AND through text/phone calls. Before calling the CSR, check all of those medias first.
