Key Season Info: 
- Celebrity plays at Poinsettia Rec Center on Sundays at between 5pm-8pm
- Plays with wacky rules that keep the games more light and fun than other leagues
- Registration includes official WAKA t-shirt, field permits, equipment, awesome parties and more! 
- Registration starts at $78 
- Each season includes on-field kickball experiences and off-field social experiences that are sure not to disappoint!
- After parties and exclusive specials at The Parlor
 
In Celebrity it's all about having fun, so we want everyone to kick as much as possible.  That being said we impliment a two-pitch rule.  1st pitch is a freebie, but counts if you kick. 2nd kick is live if fair and counts as out if foul. To keep it interesting we do same-team pitch; no-bunting every other week, and bunting with the other team pitching on the opposing weeks. Any questions ask your captains or League Rep!

  • 9/16 - TEAM REGISTRATION ENDS
  • 9/23- WEEK 1
  • 9/29 - INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION DEADLINE (PENDING AVAILABILITY)
  • 9/30- WEEK 2
  • 10/7 - NO GAMES - WAKAPALOOZA
  • 10/14 - WEEK 3
  • 10/21 - WEEK 4
  • 10/28 - WEEK 5
  • 11/4 - WEEK 6
  • 11/11 - WEEK 7
  • 11/18 - WEEK 8
  • 11/25 - NO GAMES (THANKSGIVING WEEKEND)
  • 12/2 - WEEK 9 (PLAYOFFS)

Team Deadline (2 weeks before start):  All Teams with a minimum of 18 players on their roster and a minimum of 8 per gender by this date will not be given any Free Agents.  

Team Registration Ends (1 week before start): Registration will be password protected and NO NEW TEAMS will be allowed after this date. Any players registered after this date will be considered a Free Agent and will be placed on a team at the Community Coordinator’s discretion based on roster sizes and gender ratios. Register before this date to ensure you get a spot on your team of choice.  

Why all the changes? These new deadlines are being put in place all across SoCal to allow us to deliver the BEST to YOU. That includes more time to have T-shirts & League Schedules to you in a timely manner! By encouraging our teams to get signed up early, it will not only save you money, but will give us a better idea on where the league stands before it's too late. It gives us the extra time needed to recruit rookies and free agents to help make all of our leagues full and fun. It's definitely going to take some getting used to, but in time it will be second nature! Trust me, we don't want ANY of you paying the highest price! We just want you to sign up EARLY!

Forfeiture rules:
This following rule is ONLY if 3 male/female players have shown up for a team so we can avoid some forfeits. This is not a Founders eligible league and we want everyone to be able to play. If a team’s 4th male/female cannot show up and leaves the team with only 3 males/females, below the required amount, the team will be allowed to continue the  with the following modifications:  The missing male/female’s spot in the Kicking Order is an automatic out. The team’s Defensive Lineup must continue without the male/female and go down a player. Genders may not be substituted. Three or more forfeitures in a season may result in being disqualified for playoffs.

• Credit cards charged at time of registration.

• Captains - make sure to read the Captains Responsibilities link on the website (next to the schedule link) before creating your team. By creating your team you acknowledge you've read the captains responsibilities and will uphold them.

• If you want to play on a team with your friends, make sure one of you “creates a friendgroup” and everyone registers on that group. (Otherwise you will end up elsewhere and not be able to switch later)

• If you are an individual, don't worry - just register as an individual and you will be placed on a team.
