Cold Weather Notice: A few important reminders as we play in the severe cold:
1) The rules prohibit performance enhancing equipment, which includes certain types of gloves. Gloves with any texture on the palm are not allowed while players are in the field. This includes things like leather or textured synthetics. A good rule of thumb is that if the palm of the glove is a different material than the back, it's not allowed. Things like solid fleece or wool are ok. If you have any questions, ask the Head Ref prior to the game.
2) The rules stipulate that all clothing, such as over-sized coats, scarves, etc., are considered part of the body. If anyone tags a part of a player's clothing, the player is still out.
