Interested in getting an ultimate cardio workout along with some fun competition? Then come out and show your skills on the field: CLUBWAKA is now offering Social Coed Ultimate Frisbee leagues! Our leagues offer 7 on 7 ultimate frisbee games that are fun, fast-paced, and a great way to get some exercise. Your registration includes team t-shirts, league parties, and happy hours!

Key Info

  • Cost:  $59 (includes 7 weeks of games + playoffs, T-Shirt, 3 awesome parties w/ free beer and free food, and weekly discounts at our sponsor bar!)
  • Don't have a full team?  No worries.  You can sign up with a team, a small friend group, or a free agent!  We will place you or your group on an existing team that needs players.  CLUBWAKA Ultimate Frisbee is a great way to get your friends and co-workers together or to just meet new people!
  • What if I don't have any frisbee skills? Doesn't matter.  This is a social league built on FUN!  Some even say the "post-game" at the bar is more important than the games themselves!

Schedule

  • Games Sunday mornings at 10:00AM and 11:00AM starting September 11th, 2016
  • 7-week regular season + all teams playoffs!
  • Post-game we will all head to our sponsor bar for some food, drinks, and mingling!
  • Full schedule will be posted 1 week prior to season start. 

Game / On-Field Rules

  • Maximum of 7 players on the field per team per game (7 v. 7)
  • Must have at least 2 players of each gender on the field for an official game
  • Any unsportsmanlike conduct will be met with a ZERO tolerance policy!

Captains

  • Are you a captain or aspiring captain wondering about how to start a team?  First, you want to register yourself, then start a "friend group".  Your friend group will become a team* after registration closes (*assuming you have enough players signed up).  If you don't have enough players signed up by the deadline, it's not a big deal, we will add a small group or free agents to your team to make a full roster!

Small Groups

  • Do you have a group of friends (anywhere from 2-12 players) who would like to sign up and play on the same team together?  No problem!  What you want to do is register and start a 'friend group'.  After registration closes, your friend group will be merged with other friend group(s) or free agents to make a full team.

Free Agents

  • Plan on going solo?  Perfect.  Nearly 50 percent of the players in CLUBWAKA leagues first started as free agents or small friend groups.  That's how easy it is to meet new people and make new friends.  So don't worry - go ahead and sign up and we'll be sure /to check with you to put you on a fun team that's a perfect fit for you!

Important Dates

  • 8/27: CLUBWAKA End of Summer Party @ Olde Towne Tavern 
  • 9/5: Team and Free Agent Registration Deadline: Sign up by this date! 
  • 9/6: Free agents are assigned to teams and small groups consolidated.
  • 9/11: Opening Day! 
  • 9/11: Week 1 Kick Off Party: Immediately following the games, head over to our sponsor bar for complimentary drinks, food, specials, and week 1 NFL action! (details TBD)
  • 9/24: WAKA September Party! (details TBD)
  • 10/22: WAKA October Party! (details TBD)
  • 10/30: First Round of Playoffs
  • 11/6: Championship Rounds
  • 11/19: WAKA November Party! (details TBD)

Other Notes

  • Player shirts will be handed out week 1, before the first games.
  • The season schedule will be posted approx 1 week before our first games.
  • The season schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather and other factors beyond our control.
  • We recommend all players read the game rules prior to the start of the season.
  • Cleats are recommended but they are not required.  No metal cleats are allowed.
