#MyWAKAStory 2015

WAKA is working with WAKA league members and participants across the country to collect interviews about their lives and experiences playing kickball and social sports and having fun adventures in "adulting". Over the next few months, WAKA will share these stories using Instagram with hashtag #mywakastory to inspire new adventures and to create a visual archive of the current generation of WAKA players. WAKA hopes that players from each social sports league will participate, and that the project fosters meaningful connections and new ideas within the WAKA community.

Things WAKA Dads Want To Do On Father’s Day

Happy Father’s Day! To celebrate, we asked WAKA dads what their ideal Father’s Day would be and we were impressed with the answers - this all sounds really fun!

Here’s what these baller WAKA dads had to say:

“A perfect Father’s day is a round of golf or disc golf and ice cream with my family.” – Alex T.

“I like to get a game of soccer or volleyball in then an afternoon at the pool or beach.” – Joey N.

“Date night.” – Bernie R.

“A trip to SeaWorld and a cookout with our friends (+ flip cup).” – Will L.

CLUBWAKA is full of amazing, inspiring, and hilarious folks that have lots of different interests and are looking to have a good time. Think of it as a "fun person" filter that can help you meet more people like you, who like to do the things you do, in a really short time.

WAKA Kickball on NBC's Today Show

In case you missed it, last week NBC’s Today Show featured a segment on co-ed adult kickball leagues - and there was a kickball game in the middle of episode using the Official WAKA Kickball! At WAKA, we are so happy that word is spreading about kickball leagues as a great place for young adults to cut loose after work, meet new people, find dates, and get involved in the communities in which they live. We’ve been offering kickball leagues for 16 years and we want everyone to know that kickball is just as fun as you remember it from grade school, and anyone can play!

WAKA Snowfest 2014 at Mammoth Mountain

From a “onesie” party at the slopes to a plentiful presence of neon and 80‘s gear, WAKA players were all over Mammoth Mountain last weekend for the first ever WAKA Snowfest! More than 285 players took over the lodge for a weekend of skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and WAKA style fun and games!

A big thank you to everyone who helped make the event a blast and participated in this year’s event! We can’t wait for the next one!
