CLUBWAKA Gives Back

It's Back to School time, and there's no better way to celebrate than by giving back to kids in the community. Whether it’s mentoring or cleaning up parks, or volunteering with our numerous local non-profit partners, there are tons of ways for CLUBWAKA members to get involved!

This month, CLUBWAKA donated kickballs for the Reach-a-Child Kids vs. First Responders Kickball Tournament in Madison, Wisconsin. REACH’s mission is to collect and provide books and drawstring backpacks to help First Responders comfort children-in-crisis.

The tournament was a great succes! Ten teams came out to play and the event raised more than $7,000 to support Reach’s mission.

Miami Charity Tournament Recap 2016

It was a picture perfect day in Miami for our first charity kickball tournament with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). After a full day of kickball games, the Downtown Devils from southern Florida came out on top, and took home the tournament trophy.

For the event, we worked closely with LLS to come up with a fun and unique fundraiser that would help spread awareness of their cause. More than 150 people came to play in the kickball games and celebrated with us at the tournament after party and silent auction.  From the event, we raised more than $4,000 as a donation for LLS.
