Founders Cup Weekend Player Info

Registration
 
Players can check in, get tournament information and receive player badges and wristbands. WAKA staff will be checking rosters at random during the tournament so make sure all your teammates have registered at the hotels or fields.
** Wristbands are required to ride the Championship Express Shuttle Buses to the fields, and attend WAKA parties and events so make sure you check in at the hotel!  
** Wristbands must be kept on for the entire weekend to ensure access to games and WAKA events.
 
The following items must be in order when registering:
1. In order to check-in and receive your wristband, each player is required to have a government issued photo ID [Acceptable forms of identification are: Driver’s License or driver’s permit, Passport, photo identification card, or military ID card]
2. Players must be properly registered on their team’s official roster in order to play.
3. Players must present their WAKA-issued Team T-shirt for inspection (Refer to the T-Shirt Policy on http://kickball.com for questions on what is allowed and what is not).  Shirts must be of the correct color of the team they are playing with in the tournament.
4. All players will be given name badges-- badges do not have to be worn throughout the game, but Team Captains should use theirs for identification to the Head Referee.
5. Teams must have a minimum of four (4) players of each sex checked in by 60 minutes before game start time.  Players arriving after the check-in time must still visit the registration tent to check-in and receive a wristband.  They are then allowed to be added to the bottom of the kicking order.
6. A team that does not have the proper minimum of four (4) players of each sex playing at any time during the game forfeits the game.
 
Players/teams who cannot meet these requirements will not be allowed to participate, so please remind your teammates of these stipulations. NO ROSTER CHANGES ARE PERMITTED! WAKA staff will be checking rosters at random during the tournament so make sure all your teammates have registered at the hotels or fields.
 
TOURNAMENT POLICIES
 
Spectators:
Spectators are welcomed and encouraged to come and cheer. Guest wrist bands are available for purchase in the WAKA online store and allow access to the Championship Express Shuttle Buses and entry to Party City and all WAKA events. 
 
First Aid:
WAKA reserves the right to refuse play to any person at any time for any reason including injury. The on-site First Aid Tent will provide EMT/First Aid, 911 emergency calls, and a local hospital list as requested and/or needed during the tournament.  In accordance with the WAKA Kickball Player Release and Waiver, each attendee understands and assumes the risks associated with adult kickball and is responsible for his/her own medical insurance, transportation, and fees.
 
Rain or Shine:
World Kickball Championship Weekend is a rain or shine. WAKA staff has jurisdiction over the tournament and may delay or call off games due to rain, and must cancel all play if lightning is seen. 
 
Tents:
Teams can bring their own tent, but the park has a strict NO BIG STAKE policy due to an underground irrigation system.  Please make sure you tent stakes are no longer than 8”. 
 
Water:
WAKA will make water available to ALL tournament players.  Water will be available for purchase for $1.00 from Ricardo's at the fields.
